(no subject)

The governor of South Dakota has made a step backwards. A very big one.
The governor of South Dakota is male. Pro-life governor. That's all peachy and good, but he's not calling the shots when it comes to women's bodies.

Well, now he is.

No exceptions. Rape? Incest? Out of luck, South Dakota.
Punishable up to 5 years in prison.

Don't let Indiana be next.
Indiana has already drafted two new laws addressing abortion.
Just don't let it happen. Please.

Think about it, and don't fight about it.

we learned about this in sexual politics a few weeks ago
my professor was/is convinced that that case was going to go to the supreme court and it would be illegal everywhere within the next year.
which pisses me off.
immensely.

politics is cyclic in nature. that should be a given. if it should be overturned, it will come back in the end. i will personally protest until it does...

but we should also remember that if it should be overturned, it will not put an end to it.

i wish i could say that i have hope, and that i believe that it will stand, though. in earnest i am writing my represenatives. i think everybody should do the same. cause lets think about this honestly, even if you are pissed off, it doesn't matter unless you do something about it, right?
