Oct. 1st, 2003 04:12 pmMr. Pritchett, to band: When we're on the track at the football game and in the public eye, you need stand in place! Don't walk around, it looks bad! I told you guys to keep your right foot in place, but some dimwits just did this [demonstrates goofy behavior while keeping right foot in same spot.] Stay in line, or they'll be taking BOTH of us to the hospital with MY foot up YOUR rear-end.
Me, retorting: But it'll be your left foot.
Haha, that's the highlight of my day. Oh, funny is me.
Unrelatedly, woe is me. I got a 95 on my Antigone paper, which I feel blows. I do not need lectures on how I'm too hard on myself or whatnot. I am not hard on myself, I just set higher goals and standards for myself than most other people might. Anyway, I'm disappointed that I only got a 95. At least that should bring up my absolute shit B that I got from missing maybe 10 points.
Again, unrelatedly, woe is still me. I've got it bad for someone [instert how ever many months it is] younger than I am, and that ain't good. Unrequited love, oh, woe.
Marching tonight. I'm beginning to not like it.
Too much stuff, uncoincidentally, band stuff, going on this week.
Monday - Rewrite Antigone paper for it is due Tuesday and my topic and rough draft suck.
Tuesday - Lab Band, 3:55- 4:55; Jazz Ensemble, 6:45- 8:45.
Wednesday - Sax lesson, 2:50ish - 3:20ish; marching rehearsal, 7:00- 9 something.
Thursday - Guys and Dolls pit rehearsal after school until God knows when.
Friday - report time 4:00 for Homecoming parade, game, stuff, UGH.
Saturday - Homecoming.
Also, JTF, with whom Chris and I are coupling, botched our dinner reservations because he made them for Friday. Any ideas for a good home-cooked meal?
