Nov. 29th, 2003 11:00 pmI would like to pause and write about the great evening I had tonight, thanks to Alex Andrejevich, Ian Kennedy, Laura Groth, Jon Chen, and Kelly Goffiney.
After a mopey day, I wanted to nap, so after laying down for an hour, my mother storms in and starts tickling me like mad for about 5 minutes straight. I was quite upset after about the first 30 seconds. Then she asks me, "Are you depressed about something?"
and I had to lie. "No, Mom."
"Then why are you sleeping a lot?"
"Because I'm tired, Mom."
Anyway, she made me get up. I go straight to the computer and see that Alex and Laura are at Fazoli's, and not wanting to be excluded (like I was last night) or ending up throwing myself off a bridge, I asked my parents if I could go. Mom asked me what time I would be home, and my awesome dad just says, "Get the hell out of here, it's Saturday night."
So I went to Fazoli's. Laura and Alex looked awfully surprised to see me. Kelly and Chen showed up, I ate a few breadsticks, and when the three went to see "Love, Actually," Alex and I went back to her house. Ian then showed up, and we went to Town and Country and then to Blockbuster. We rented "Head of State" and watched it at Alex's. At the end of the movie, Laura, Kelly, and Chen showed up, and as I was leaving to go home and take Laura home, Alex gave me a huge hug that required a running start and left me in pain. I love you Alex!
